Cleaning your FlexScreen custom window screens!

Cleaning your window screens is essential to the annual maintenance required to keep your screens looking brand new for years to come. It’s important to keep your window screens clean to keep your view unobstructed and to help improve the airflow. The same applies for FlexScreen, but the best part is cleaning your FlexScreens is a breeze! 

To clean your screens, you’ll need a bucket with warm water, gentle soap, a washcloth; and we recommend using a garden hose, but you can also wash them in a utility sink or bathtub. 

1. First, rinse both sides of the screen to remove any loose debris. 
2. Then take your washcloth and gently wipe down both sides of the screen to remove anything that may be stuck on the screen. For tougher dirt and stains, you may need to give it a little extra elbow grease, but be careful not to put too much pressure around the screen closest to the frame, which may cause it to pull away from the frame.
3. Third, give your FlexScreens a rinse. 

Once you have finished washing your screens, you can leave them to air dry before putting them back in place. Your screens should look new, and you can enjoy the beauty of your unobstructed views and improved airflow.
